Seamless quality
assurance

Every great custom case or bag starts with a carefully crafted sample. That’s why we make yours in the same facility that will produce your final order—using the same materials, processes, and skilled craftsmanship. From the first stitch to full production, we ensure consistency, quality, and precision every step of the way.

How it works

We know that every custom case or bag starts with a great sample. That’s why we take the time to get every detail right—so when it’s time for full production, there are no surprises. Here’s how we ensure your sample meets your expectations from the start.

Design approved

Before we begin sample production, we collaborate closely with you to finalize every detail—dimensions, materials, functionality, and branding. Our team works to ensure your case is not only aesthetically on-brand but also structurally sound and optimized for its intended use. Once everything is locked in, we’re ready to bring it to life.
If you already have a bag design, we’ll review it to ensure it’s fully manufacturable and assess the design for functionality, durability, and production feasibility.

Sample produced

With the design approved, we source the exact materials that will be used in your final production run, ensuring consistency in quality and durability. Our skilled production team then crafts the sample in the same facility, using the same processes, equipment, and tooling as the full-scale order. This step allows us to refine every aspect of the case, identifying potential improvements before full-scale manufacturing.

Sample approved

Once the sample is complete, it’s sent to you for review and testing. This is your opportunity to see, feel, and test the case in real-world conditions. If adjustments are needed, we refine the design until it’s just right. Once you give the final approval, we seamlessly transition into full production—confident that the end result will be exactly what you envisioned.

Expert material sourcing

The right fabric and materials are just as crucial as the design itself. We carefully source premium fabrics, zippers, straps, and hardware to ensure your custom case not only looks great but stands the test of time in both function and durability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the sample step important for custom bags and cases?

A sample confirms the fit, function, materials, and branding before full production. It helps ensure there are no surprises—so what you approve is what gets produced at scale.

If we already have an existing bag or case design, can you sample it?

Absolutely. We can review your existing design to confirm it’s fully manufacturable, then assess functionality, durability, and production feasibility before creating a sample.

Can the sample include branding like logos, colors, and labels?

Yes. Samples can include brand elements such as logo placement, color matching, labels, patches, embroidery or printing options, and other finishing details so you can approve the look and feel.

What materials can be used in a Tetrafab sample?

We can sample across many materials depending on your needs, including EVA, polyester, nylon, neoprene, and PVC, along with premium components like zippers, straps, webbing, and hardware.

How do you source materials for the sample?

Our team sources the right combination of fabric, zippers, straps, and hardware based on your performance needs (durability, cleanability, structure, weight, and appearance). The goal is a sample that matches real production expectations.

What happens after I approve the sample?

Once the sample is approved, we move into production with the confidence that the final order will match the approved construction, materials, and finish—supporting consistent quality and reliable timelines.
