Discovery Meeting
Our process starts with a deep dive into your needs and objectives. In this initial meeting, we take the time to understand your product, budget, timeline, and manufacturing requirements. By gathering key details upfront, we ensure that every aspect of your custom bag or case is designed with the right materials, functionality, and production feasibility in mind. This collaborative approach helps us align on the best solution for your business from the very start.
Ideation
With a clear understanding of your needs, we move into the creative phase. Our team explores different design concepts, materials, and features, ensuring each option aligns with your product’s goals. We collaborate with you to refine and adjust these ideas, laying the foundation for a fully realized concept. By the end of ideation, you’ll have a clear direction on the design path forward.
Prepare Concepts
Building on refined ideas from the ideation phase, we prepare the final concept. Our team creates detailed plans, including sketches, technical specifications, and material choices, ensuring alignment with your vision. We collaborate closely with you to finalize the design, ensuring it meets both aesthetic and functional needs, paving the way for a smooth transition into production.

What does “custom without limits” mean at Tetrafab?
It means your bag or case is designed around your exact product, use case, and brand, not a template. Our in-house team can tailor everything—materials, structure, protection level, pockets, closures, carry options, and branding—while ensuring the final design is manufacturable at production scale.
Can Tetrafab design around my product if it’s still in development?
Yes. If you have CAD, drawings, key dimensions, or an early prototype, we can design a custom bag or case around it. When details change, we can adjust the design to keep the solution aligned with your product roadmap and production timeline.
How do you make sure a design is manufacturable?
Our design team considers materials, construction methods, labor efficiency, and repeatable quality throughout the process. That means your concept is translated into a design that can be produced consistently—without sacrificing durability, fit, or brand presentation.
What materials can Tetrafab use for custom bags and cases?
We work with a wide range of materials depending on your needs—lightweight, rugged, easy-to-clean, or high-end finishes. Common options include performance textiles (like nylon), coated materials (like PVC/vinyl), foam padding, liners, reinforcements, webbing, and structured components used in protective equipment bags and portable electronic cases.
Can you help design the interior layout for organization and protection?
Yes—interiors are where custom design shines. We can create layouts with foam, dividers, pockets, straps, elastic loops, tool organization, device sleeves, and accessory storage so your product and components stay secure, protected, and easy to access.
Can Tetrafab sign an NDA or handle confidential projects?
Yes. We routinely support confidential product launches and can work under NDA. Our process is built to protect sensitive details while still moving efficiently from concept to production.
How long does the design process take?
Timelines vary based on complexity, revisions, and where we are starting from. After your Discovery Meeting, we’ll provide a clear plan that includes key milestones—design development, sampling and production readiness.
Can you redesign or improve an existing bag or case we already use?
Yes. If you have an existing solution that isn’t meeting expectations, we can improve durability, organization, protection, usability, and branding—often reducing pain points like weak stress points, awkward storage, or poor fit.
